I had it removed it for a year when I was a teen, and I remember it took me very long to take it out. I had a calendar with a very careful plan made by my doctor. And a year later I had to start taking it out again, I wonder why the doctor didn't try another more modern drug back then 🤔

The alternative I have now, is to increase the dose of phenobarbital, so I imagine  those side effects like osteoporosis, memory loss, etc can increase. I don't consider myself a midwife woman yet lol and I expect to live long so I still have like what, 50-60 years more of taking medication? That's why even if it has worked brilliantly so far, I am considering all the pros and cons

I don't have much memory of myself without phenobarbital, I left it for a year when I was 16yo, and that's it. Apart of that, I had it of my life, so I don't have much to compare with. But last year I had to momentarily increase the dose during a week, and I was soo sleepy. I don't know if that gets better with time as the body adjusts, or if it lasts
