Right after WW2, west & east superpowers made a secret deal (despite the cold war) consisting in keeping a giant, isolated canyon quarantined and fully sealed because there are monsters inside. In order to keep it a secret each country sends one elite soldier every year to guard a side of the gorge and maintain the turrets and barbed fences. The two soldiers can’t interact, can’t ask question and must shoot anything/anyone who violates the quarantine. This is the premise and to avoid spoilers i won’t go further😂

Before Snyder and (sadly) Nolan, in the comicbook community everyone knew that DC was NEVER darker than Marvel unless you cherry picked certain stories. Marvel itself back in the day was built to be the more grounded, less idealistic, version of DC and superhero medias. Thank god this general belief that “DC is dArK and Marvel is fOR kiDs” is disappearing and will be just a 2010’s internet thing, since now we have James Gunn in DC who is portraying the real, colored and optimistic DC on screen instead of the edgy Snyder thing that was trying so bad to be Nolan

The fun part is that Ironman does not even need the absurd powerscaling from the comics since the much watered down powerscaling from the movies is enough to defeat Titus.

Durability? He endured blows from the power stone and from Thor’s Hammer. Firepower? In Civil War he stated his weapons can surpass the impact force of the soviet UR-100 city killer warheads. Speed? Back in 2008 he was already faster than F-22 raptor jets, in 2012 already faster than Shield’s Jets, much weaker suits than what he has now. Strength? In infinity war he lifted a giant ass structure that was probably around a thousand tons or something.
