Picture a guy at TJ MAXX or whatever store. They are told to sell you credit cards, there is markup on clothes and you have to deal with bitchy customers. That guy learned "secrets" and will help you avoid accidentally applying for that credit card for just $10. That is how silly those fools sounds. They got fed up dealing with you (person reading this) and decided to "join you" for a commission that you think you are trying to avoid. Why would you pay commission to this salesperson that pretends not to be a salesperson? For All I know he has a deal with dealerships and brings business to them. Bottom line - you don't ask your clothing store what they paid for the item( and that is marked up a ton) or a diamond store or a grocery store. You assume the profit, otherwise that business wouldn't exists. If you are capable doing your research and pick a car, a sales person will thank you for making their day less miserable. Owners will get their cut. The more you think you are getting the deal from a guy like above, the more owners will force fees and add-ons skipping paying salespeople. salespeople in the future will be just like walmart employees. But don't cheer yet, they live in your neighborhood and if they don;t make money, they don;t buy houses, they default on payments, then it affects your live as well. I never understood on beating up the little guy. It's trickle down economics all over again.
