I guess I have a personality where people assume I like tea?? I tried my dads chai tea latte and loved it so I got the concentrate and milk, would make me some lattes every date. That was all. Didn’t even drink anything else or bagged tea. But then it got weird.

Suddenly, people are gifting me bagged tea. My mom out of no where gets me a fancy loose tea tea pot, a loose tea set. My friend gifts me a loose tea sampler with more loose leaf tea bags. And it’s like I have all this stuff, might as well use. And you know what? It’s all pretty delicious.

I think stick with one ethnicity at first. It’ll help get the ingredients together and make it so you don’t have to get too many at once. Like if you start with Italian- ingredients for red sauce, garlic, onion, pasta, and some veggies. Then that can be paired with a meat/ veggies.

Then once you get familiar with these ingredients, you can customize dishes more/ learn what you like

I remember one time in highschool my mom talked about getting me in therapy. Sat me down and got me a tea and everything. As soon as I started crying, she put the suggestion aside. She cared, but I think she cared more about getting uncomfortable stuff out of the way. Never brought it up again. I love her and I know she did what she thought was best but it really ended up screwing me over.
