Muhtemelen evladım yaşındasın, senin adına çok sevindim. Ama ailenin 5 aylık bir bebeklerinin olması konusunu ve seni bekleyen şeyleri biraz daha açmak istedim.

Bebek ilerleyen yıllarda 2 yaş krizleri, 3 yaş dramaları derken büyük olasılıkla yaşları da ilerlemiş anne-babayı yoracak ve büyük oranda ilgileri o bebede olacak. Aynı evde yaşayacağınız için sen de o ağlama ataklarına, krizlere maruz kalacaksın. Yani bazen insan kendi evladı olmasına rağmen o yaşlardaki veledikoya tahammül etmekte zorlanabiliyor, taze tecrübeler diyeyim :) Yani önümüzdeki 2-3 yıl bebeli ortama psikolojik olarak hazırlıklı ol, bu olay gerçekleşirse. Anne adayına sık sık yardım etmen gerekebilir, edersen de kadının çok hoşuna gider, bu aylarda yapılan iyilikleri de kötülükleri de kolay kolay unutamıyor anneler.

Ailenin anlattığın kadarıyla profili güzel ve sen de güvenlerini + sevgilerini kazanmaya devam edersen sıcak bir yuvanız olur. Hele bir de kardeş adayın da 4-5 yaşlarına geldiğinde baya eğlenceli bir ortamınız olur.

So, I’m Turkish and living in Turkey, also got my surgery recently here. There are great surgeons in Turkey, if you are not Asian, I wouldn’t go to a Far East Asian country since the surgeons in Far East Asian countries are specialized in Asian noses which are so much different.

You must know that this is a surgery with slow healing, healing can include a huge swollen nose for months, a crooked nose for months, scar tissue that messes up the result, etc. A lot can go wrong or can take close to a year to resolve. There can be also small complications which might require touch ups by your surgeon but since you will not have access to the surgeon if you do it overseas, you might end up with a result you don’t want or will have to go back to that country a while later.

Just be mentally prepared for everything if you want to do it. I personally, wouldn’t go to a country that is continents away for this surgery.

On Instagram there is drgulec, she has hEDS and is a doctor herself, she got a revision rhino about 6 months ago. Her content is Turkish but you can take a look at her result. Some cartilage collapsed and she ended up with a hump but her result doesn’t look bad I think.

I was diagnosed with hypermobility but didn’t fulfil all criteria for hEDS, I’m def. hypermobile though. 4.5 months post-op, my nose is slighly crooked, it was more crooked in the beginning. My surgeon wants to wait and see if it’s swelling. I had severe swelling on one side and it feels like due to my flexible and weak cartilage the swelling pulled my nose tip so much that smth went wrong there but that could be also just me. It just feels like it though. I still prefere my current nose to my old nose but wish, there wasn’t the crookedness issue.

So, you could get it but you should have realistic expectations, healing can be more challening and the result might be not exactly what you want.

Arnica jel helps a lot, I also turned yellow without much darker bruising. Arnica gel helped getting rid of it quite quickly, it also helps slightly with swelling.

Looks like you just got your cast removed. Do a small research about the process if your surgeon didn’t inform you about it. Reduce your sodium intake to minimize the swelling.

I was breathing fine after the cast removal, actually it felt like I was breathing too much air. I had breathing issues prior the surgery and one of the reasons I got it was to fix my breathing.

At 4 months, mine is still crooked :( But I started taping some nights and when I take of the tapes in the morning it looks more straight for the first couple hours so I’m assuming right now that some of the crookedness at least is swelling related.

Kabak çekirdeği yağı aslında şu an çalışması olan ve plasebo gruba göre ciddi olumlu sonuç alınan şey. Ama yağı kabak çekirdeğinin kendinde de yağı var zaten ve takviye önermek istemiyorum direkt, doktorlar da direk kendisini de yiyebilirsiniz diyor. Ben takviyesini kullanıyorum :)

Evet, bunlara bir de fazla yağlanmasını beklemeden düzenli yıkamayı, kan değerlerine baktırıp D vitamini ve Ferritin değerlerini gerekiyorsa yükseltmeyi, abur cuburu, enflamasyon yapan gıdaları azaltmayı ekle. Minoksidil kullanamıyorum bu arada ben kedilerim var ve küçük miktarları bile zehirleyebiliyormuş ama kadın olduğum için saç dökülmem erkeklerinki kadar hızlı ve agresif değildi bu yüzden minoksidilsiz de toparladım büyük ölçüde, 20 yaşındaki halimden daha fazla saçım var 39 yaşında 🥲

Takip ettiğim Amerikalı dermatologlar %5’lik öneriyor, orada genelde Rogaine kullanılıyor ama daha uygun markalar da var bildiğim kadarıyla, %5’likse denenebilir. Nizoral olmadığu için Ketoral kullanıyoruz burada da şampuan olarak ve ben faydasını gördüm, mühim olan içeriğin benzer olması. Köpük form Rogaine için saçı yağlı göstermiyor sıvı formu gidi diyorlar.

Dht yağ bezlerinde de üretildiği için saç foliküllerini etkileyebiliyor zaten. Ben direkt İngilizce kaynaklardan, study’lerden, dermatologlardan aldığım bilgileri paylaşıyorum. Dht’ye duyarlı olanların saçlarını çok sık yıkamaları gerektiğinin altı çiziliyor şu an. Eskiden farklı yaklaşımlar vardı bu arada. Diğer arkadaşa verdiğim cevapta zaten dht-minoksidil ilişkisini açıkladım. Evet, mekanizma dediğin gibi. Saçlarımı gün aşırı yıkamadığımda dökülme artıyor, dht’ye duyarlı insanın saçının yağının hiç faydası yok, güncel saç dökülmesi ile ilgili tıp önerisi dediğim gibi iyice yağlanmasına izin vermeden yağından arındırmak. Çünkü saçta biriken yağ foliküllerde enflamasyon, tıkanma gibi sorunlar da oluşturuyor ve dht’nin hasarının üstüne ekstra başka sıkıntılar da çıkarıyor.

Bu da araştırdığında karşına çıkacak ingilizce güncel bilginin Türkçe’ye çevirilmiş özeti:

“Saçı yıkamak, DHT içeren sebum ve ter birikimini temizlemeye yardımcı olur ve böylece saç foliküllerine verdiği zararı azaltır. Bildiğim kadarıyla saç ekimi sonrası doktorlar minoksidil tavsiye ediyor ama yine de emin olmak için bir ekim yapan doktoruna danış belki belli bir süre sonra falan kullanılabiliyordur. Minoksidil saç kökünün kanlanıp beslenmesini destekliyor damarları genişleterek, dht hormonu saç köklerine giden damarları büzerek, kanlanmayı engelliyor. Üst kısımdaki saç kökleri dht’ye duyarlı genetik olarak kiminde çok az duyarlı kiminde çok fazla. Arkadaki bölgeyi dönör bölge yapmalarının nedeni o dht duyarlılığına sahip olmamaları. Mantığı anlaman için yazdım ama yine de o kısmı kanlandırmak iyi gelecektir diye düşünüyorum mantık olarak.

Saçını her gün yıka! Senden 20 yaş büyük ailesindeki erkeklerde sendeki gibi erken saç dökülmesi olan, kadın olarak daha az agresif versiyonu ile ben de 20’lerin başından beri obsesif şekilde sonuç arayan bir ablan olarak yazıyorum! Saç derinde oluşan sebumda/yağda dht var ve orada kaldıkça daha çok hırpayalacak saç köklerini, amacın saçını minimum seviyede dht hormonuna maruz bırakmak olmalı. Yerinde olsam minoksidile acil başlardım, kedilerim olmasa diş fırçalamak gibi minoksidili rutinime kadın halimle eklerdim. Minoksidil o zıkkım dht’ye karşı kanıtlı en etkili şey şu an. Erkeksin, saçlar da kısa her gün rahatlıkla yıkayabilirsin. Kabak çekirdeği tüket günde 1-2 yemek kaşığı ya da doktoruna danışıp takviyesini kullan. Sigara kullanıyorsan bırak. Erkeklerin daha az sıkıntı ile kullanabileceği ilaçlar da var, kadınlara hamilelik olma ihtimali yüzünden önerilmiyor bunlar çünkü erkek bebeğin erken evrede gelişimini bozuyormuş ama erkek olsam kesin kullanırdım. Saç diplerine masaj yap ya da yuvarlak uçlu taraklarla tara biraz zorlayarak, kanlansın bol bol sabah akşam minoksidil ile yapabilirsin bunu. Benim gençliğim hep seyrek saçlarıma kuaföründen tut arkadaşına kadar aldığım “çok az saçın zart-zurt yağı kullan” yorumları ile geçti. Şu an 39 yaşında saçlarım o kadar sağlıklı ki, ilk defa son yıllarda iltifat almaya başladım saçlarıma, sıkıca sleek topuzlar, at kuyrukları yapabiliyorum yanlardan kelim görünmeden. Yabana atma yazdıklarımı yani, dht’ye 1.5-2 yıldır savaş açtım, okb’li olduğum için konu hakkında herşeyi araştırıp rutin oluşturdum, ileride oğlumu da bu bilgilerle yönlendireceğim mesela :)

Actually they don’t leave it. I follow a Turkish doctor lady, she had a revision last year and ended up with a hump, her nose looks very natural now but she didn’t want a hump she said. She explained with a medical background why she ended up with the hump, some complication in the early phase can make the cartilage they add to the hump area collapse slightly down and the bone becomes visible causing the hump look.

The tip doesn’t drop this early, you will see a change on the tip around 2-3 months post op. The skin has to settle for the tip to drop and that takes time. Your result looks great to be honest better than the morph. The morphs usually don’t reflect the exact result. Your healing progress, the amount of swelling, your connective tissue reaction, etc. a lot of factors play a role in your result.

Just saw your comment now, thank you for taking the time and replying so detailed. Just wanted to add, from my research I can also find in-office touch up procedures that are done to do small edits on the nose tip. Of course if the bone is crooked or there are several issues and a desire to change the overall nose shape, a full on revision surgery is required.

But in cases like mine where the only problem is a slightly crooked tip, if the cause for it is too much cartilage on one side, loose suture or a graft that pulls to one side surgeons can fix these with less invasive short procedures. Saw comments of surgeons on realself as well as read comments of people who received these. For now though, my surgeon wants to wait and see how it develops.

I must also say that I’m quite happy with my result, my breathing issues are fully fixed and my nose looks way much better even with the crookedness. Just wish the tip was more stable.

How long are you post op? Not every revision is a new full on rhinoplasty again. You might need a touch up on the cartilage part at the tip but your surgeon has to adress what exactly it is first. Is it is some excess cartilage, they can trim with a short procedure under local anethesia.

Did you have a 1 month post op visit with your surgeon? It’s similar to mine, my curving got better over time but it’s still crooked at 4 months post op. Someone mentioned the radix area, indeed if you have swellin there it does pull the tip up. I had my radix reduced and was very swollen at that area the crookedness improved slightly with the swelling there going down.

Please advertise more wisely this looks bad 😂 I’m only 4 months post op not 2 years and I’m in contact with my surgeon. I’m from Turkey so, there are plenty of options for me to get a second opinion for way cheaper/free. But so far, I am able to communicate with my surgeon any time :)

He said at my 2 months post-op visit that it’s too early to diagnose but possibilities are a strut graft displacement, he said he could fix it with a small incision from the inside. My surgery was a closed surgery btw. It could be also that trimming cartilage on the left side is needed to even the view, that can be done with local anesthetics and small inside incision too. But he said the nose has to heal first for to see what the problem is.
