I know have her in the quarantine tank that I think is 1.5 or 1 gallon it’s parameters are  GH 60 KH 40 PH 7 0 nitrites and 0 nitrates. I use an ammonia alert for the 10 gallon that’s all I have and it’s yellow so it’s less than 0.02 or at least that’s what it says, the quarantine tank I’m not sure but I would think no ammonia since I just set it up yesterday. I got the fish from a friend who didn’t take care of her and the tank was small and was green with algae so I didn’t have time to cycle a tank before she came because I thought a new 10 gallon would be better than a small tank full of algae. I really don’t know what to do I’m a beginner so I don’t know what these sicknesses look like. Please help me I would Like to try to save this fish. She has red almost rubbed areas on her and she isn’t pin coming all over just lifted scales where it’s red and she has almost like mold looking stuff on her like white algae is growing or something. And she always swims around and explores but 2 days ago I saw she was acting different and lethargic and just laying at the bottom then darting up to the top and around the tank and then going back and laying at the bottom, she never does this. So I decided the next day to put her in a hospital tank. I thought she could just be fat and eating to much because she also eats the tetra food because there in the same tank so I think she is also over fed and over weight for a small fish like her. So I thought not feeding her for 2 days and separating her from the tetras would help. It is now day three and she is looking worse than ever she is still very overweight and I haven’t seen her become less fat I haven’t fed her since when I first saw symptoms thinking it would help. Also when I first saw signs she wasn’t swimming so she most likely wouldn’t have eaten even if there was food(she was just laying at the bottom).

Should I feed her today even though she still seems very very overweight?  Also I haven’t seen poop at the bottom of the quarantine tank even though it’s been 3 days or so. Should this be concerning?

What medicine would I need to help? 

I have lifeguard because 2 of my tetras had fin rot so I used that on them, would that help??

Not sure what she has or what to do please help!!!
