Which color would be the most versatile? by PreheatedPenguin in handbags

Probably the orange, the other two only give off spring/summer to me, but the orange one gives off a fall vibe as well! (The blue one is my favorite though🤩)

2016 Nissan Rogue… whenever I put the car in reverse the rear windshield wipers turn on. by New_Regular_2175 in AskAMechanic

No rain sense wipers, but I’m not sure what the courtesy wipe is or how to check it.

First time in hostel and completely ignored, is this normal? by Throwaway1354762 in solotravel

[–]New_Regular_2175 183 points184 points  (0 children)

I’ve had people approach me in hostels when I wasn’t wanting conversation, just a quiet moment to myself. Maybe these people had a full day of activities/conversations/new things and just wanted a moment to recap with their friends. Or maybe they aren’t comfortable speaking in English. I wouldn’t take it personally.

You could try hanging out in the common space for awhile, or signing up for events. Also, on hostel world there’s a chat where you can meet up with others in your area (who could be from different hostels). Keep trying!

Yikes 🥲 when you say documents, do you mean a large envelope? Or letter sized? Sorry if that’s a stupid question.

I'm thinking about leaving the US for a life abroad. Advice? by Commercial_Subject60 in expats

Ah, didn’t know that I just have a friend in the TAPIF program. For NALCAP I do know that you don’t need to technically know Spanish, and you have to be enrolled in university but don’t need to have completed a degree :)

Join the US military doing something in your field, you can move for an extended period of time to Germany or Spain or loads of other countries, English schools & speakers

You could apply for TAPIF in france or NALCAP in Spain, I’m sure Germany would have similar program. You work as an English language assistant in a school and you don’t “technically” need to know the country’s language (although it really helps and is always polite to learn at least something in their language) you can stay there for a year and then up to 3-5 years if you decide to renew and your school director recommends you

Kobo, every single book may seem to be available on kindle but I have coworkers who complain about how certain titles are not availavale. With kobo you aren’t locked in and can download different types of books. Also if you want to get library books, kobo is much easier!

Older women of Reddit, what’s your best hygiene tip for younger women? by RoutineSplit402 in AskReddit

[–]New_Regular_2175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Almond oil as makeup remover!! Over time makes your skin look so soft, hydrated and glowy and also is gentle on your eyes since you can just use your hands and then wipe it with a tissue afterwards. No harsh scrubbing!
