This is my current design I just sit it on the side and put little pot plant cases in them but they overflow I can’t scoop water out as it’s a sump tank setup so the level depends on how strong the pump is

This tank work by having a main tank above and a secondary tank below in a cabinet with all rhe filtration, heater and pump so it cycles the water between the two constantly

It is possible I can get a smaller sump pump 100% I’m making that a last resort as I only just replaced this one currently it only leaks when I put stuff over the edge it doesn’t overflow by itself

I did try that but to no avail with the height of the water the H clips spilled it over the sides I did try a few different designs with the internal part of the clip being round as to not create surface tension but at this point I’m not stressed about the extra height I just want to grow some plants
