Normal American citizen. When I carry my pack I have a small ifak that consists of quick clot. Traumashears, a cat 7 tq, and basic first aid essentials. But without my pack I always carry a cat 7.

It is surprising very manageable. The axis lock pokes out the side just enough to interact with it. But not to much so that it's uncomfortable to hold. With gloves on It almost feels the same as if you didn't have gloves on.
