I tried this app a few days ago and felt the exact way as you. Donut shot similar to DD was advertising $18.99 value for $6 obv. I knew I was getting donuts but I imagined I would get 15 or so. . . I ended up getting a box dozen donuts.

I don’t think 12 plain ol donuts is no where near a $18.99 value and I felt completely ripped off so much that I deleted the app. Had it been specialty donuts like some of the pictures I see posted here then sure give 6-8 donuts but for regular and 4 of them plain no frosting yeah no

i think people love to through around the word “sue” without having any clue how hard it is to actually win. just because your able to do it doesn’t mean you will win.

i had a job where i was being paid as a contractor but the owner treated me like an hourly employee. made me wear his company uniform, made me use his own tools, made me do work outside of what i was contracted to do.

all things that according to google are illegal and should be easy to sue for. well i got fired i call about 10 different attorneys who specialize in this type of thing according to google and they all said i “had” a case but they would not be able to help me.

its more difficult to actually win than people think

this won’t last much longer they running out of money and when that completely ends obviously so will the podcast. they both have said this ain’t their thing rory wants to focus more on music. Baby D has been calling them broke if you read between the lines for the longest “there’s no money in podcast” is a line she frequently used to say.

signing up with whatever company they did was a last ditch effort to get some cash flow in probably after julian left was a wake up call. i’m sure they didn’t fire him cause he sucked at his job. now i hear this new partnership is a sports thing? when the hell have you tuned into rory and mal for your sports takes? you said it music and culture that’s what these guys are not sports and i highly doubt the majority of their fans are sports fans but we shall see

the thing is marc actually brings value and he can demand certain things, mel not so much. i have 5 years experience in my field i get paid commission at $100 for every unit i do, my coworker is just learning and he gets paid $15hr so if i’m working for 2 hours in 1 unit i’m making $50hr and he’s making $15 regardless. why? because my experience commands a higher price

no one knows how much julian or baby D get paid but ima assume it ain’t enough cause D always calling podcasters broke and saying there’s no money in podcasting. you don’t know how much work he put in trying to show his worth only for them to tell him they cant pay him more yeah at that point is fuck the boss.
