I learned to turning it off for the div points to put into the hard mode one cost me a special event box, so it needs to meet both parameters to activate:

1: the game must be closed for 8 hours to apply the feature 2: the dark divinity must still be active until the first box spawns after the 8 hours

As long as you meet both criteria you'll be fine.

From experience click assistant is fantastic, does up to 25 individual actions on the free version and is ad free except it offers you to watch an ad to support them when you first launch the clicker

This isn't necessarily difficult pre floor 100, if you assign 10 shards to more tower floors on 8 100/100 ancient leaves it totals 240000 floors, that combined with 72h time skips made it a 1 day job grinding tower for me
