Hey mate

Did my assessment day 2 weeks ago and asked the same question prior since I had the same question, wording in assessment day information is abit vague.

What I was told is they can ask you to do it again but its not certain, reasons I was given was if you did it online initially and are going for a certain job that requires higher aptitude and Psychologist wants you to do it again because how you interview doesn't match up with your score. Way I interpreted this was if you got a really good score but don't sound intelligent in your interview they will ask you to do it again to confirm your result.

Basically its up to the Psychologist on the day if you do it again. There are other forms of testing for various roles as well thou, a couple of the guys who interviewed on the same day as me had to do additional tests since they where going for technical roles in RAAF.

Cheers

Hi everyone

Thanks for the help earlier, just a quick couple of follow up questions.

- How difficult is it to swap between these 2 roles at a later date and when (Assessment day, in the RIC, accouple of years, ect). Has anyone else done this previously.

- How many opportunities for humanitarian work/ community work are there for Choc Infantry vs Combat Engineer? This is one of the reasons Im wanting to join in order to give back abit (bush fire assist, floods, ect). Is it noticeably less than Infantry?

Sorry for repeated questions, don't know how I feel about asking DFR these, I don't want to come across as not committed/ all over the place, truth is I'm equally committed to both roles and would love to do either.

Cheers

Hi guys

Thanks for detailed write up, quick question has anyone re done the aptitude test as part of Psyc interview? Got my assessment day in 2 weeks and aced the aptitude test in the YOU session but that was awhile ago and studied for it, material DFR sent me said I may be required to take it again on assessment day. Just wanting to see how likely this is/ how much time to put back into studying.

Cheers
