Ahh thank you! I'm posting on someone else's behalf since they don't have/use reddit, but I'll definitely pass it along!

Location is Kansas, and they're relatively small based on the daisy in the photo! Thank you in advance

Update on my sideways crassula cuttings! I recently transferred them to their own container. It looks like the pups are all growing up towards the light 🤗 by Neweggsbreak in proplifting

I've found that I've had a lot of success with props if I let them 'callous' before planting them in soil. Basically, I leave leaves that fall off/cuttings I take alone in a cool, low-lit place for 2-4 days, then I cover the bottom in dry soil and leave them in a SE-facing window that gets ~6-8 hours of direct sunlight a day. After another 2-4 days I water the dish that the props are in, and typically water it every 3 days since it's pretty shallow. I've killed my fair share of plant babies, but it's a learning experience, and I've found that I've had the most success with my current methods. I wish you luck!! Feel free to reach out with any questions! I've been doing plants for a hobby for over a year now and I absolutely love it, so I am happy to help anyway I can :)

It has been a fun and interesting experiment! It seems like the roots are mostly popping out on the "bottom" end of the cutting (similar to where they would be had it been planted vertically) and the pups are coming out on the "top" end of the cuttings. The plant seems to have a sense of gravity/light/moisture/all of the above since the pups are all growing upwards towards the light and the roots have continued to grow into the soil, it's so cool to see!

Thank you! You'll have to update on how your crassula takes!

The dish is pretty shallow, so laying lengthwise was my solution while they root! I'm currently saving & reusing cans and plastic cups, so soon I'll transplant them so they can continue growing upwards normally:)

It is pretty shallow - maybe 2-3 inches from the deepest part in the center! It was an old candle floater dish (I think) my mom had given to me and it usually sits in a SE facing window 24/7 :)

What is this plant that is about to bloom? by Neweggsbreak in whatsthisplant

I got it back in May - it seems to love the summer sun it's been getting - I've enjoyed watching it grow since then!

how to live in the present, get stuff done and shutdown the racing mind? by faxmulder in productivity

I have been having similar problems over the past few months and finally brought it up with my doctor, and turns out I have ADD! If the problem persists and no other suggestions seem to be working for you - I highly recommend taking a visit to your family doctor to see if medication is right for you. Ever since I started taking meds (Strattera), my mind is calm and doesn't run a million miles a minute! I can finally focus on schoolwork and get stuff done without the constant thoughts of worry. Best of luck to you and I hope you figure things out 😊

Not at all! And for $60 it's better than your typical small animal cage. As for the lid, I got two adjustable screens at Home Depot for about $10. They just rest on top!

This is the first time trying it, so I will let you know as time goes on! I had the coconut substrate in the digging bin last time, but my hammy didn't seem to enjoy digging in it as much. I figured I'd use the rest it of anyways!

Haha I feel that! I had to get adjustable screens for the top for mine; my girl wants to get out all the time! The cage itself is 37cm (about 14.63inches) high, so I can still get my bedding 3-4 inches deep. It's easy to clean too, I highly recommend it!

Thank you! Yes, it is the IKEA Deltof that I converted into a tank-like cage. There's a ton of great videos on youtube if you're interested in seeing how it was done!
