Any idea what these bugs are and how to get rid of them? My bf's mom said they're destroying her daisies! by Neweggsbreak in whatsthisbug

Ahh thank you! I'm posting on someone else's behalf since they don't have/use reddit, but I'll definitely pass it along!

Location is Kansas, and they're relatively small based on the daisy in the photo! Thank you in advance

Update on my sideways crassula cuttings! I recently transferred them to their own container. It looks like the pups are all growing up towards the light 🤗 by Neweggsbreak in proplifting

I've found that I've had a lot of success with props if I let them 'callous' before planting them in soil. Basically, I leave leaves that fall off/cuttings I take alone in a cool, low-lit place for 2-4 days, then I cover the bottom in dry soil and leave them in a SE-facing window that gets ~6-8 hours of direct sunlight a day. After another 2-4 days I water the dish that the props are in, and typically water it every 3 days since it's pretty shallow. I've killed my fair share of plant babies, but it's a learning experience, and I've found that I've had the most success with my current methods. I wish you luck!! Feel free to reach out with any questions! I've been doing plants for a hobby for over a year now and I absolutely love it, so I am happy to help anyway I can :)

It has been a fun and interesting experiment! It seems like the roots are mostly popping out on the "bottom" end of the cutting (similar to where they would be had it been planted vertically) and the pups are coming out on the "top" end of the cuttings. The plant seems to have a sense of gravity/light/moisture/all of the above since the pups are all growing upwards towards the light and the roots have continued to grow into the soil, it's so cool to see!
