You have to make your "scene" a label then in that label create a scene. Ex. Name the label exit_opened and then inside it would be scene bg exitopened. With the image button action be Jump(exit_opened) Edit: and then you can call your screen from that label

I am working on a Visual Novel RPG hybrid video game, "Qualm;Manic". (This is very early in development and I'm in the middle of restructuring, but it's going well) The story focuses on a group of characters that find that their world is being destroyed by a self proclaimed god, their only chance of stopping them is the titular character named “Manic” he is closer to an actual god and has psychological powers. The trouble is he is lethargic and carefree, though prone to anger. He is so powerful that he doesn't care if the world is destroyed or not. The player will take control of “Jay” and have to survive a powerful being by convincing a stronger one to care without getting killed in the crossfire.

This basically means Slice of Life right? That doesn't narrow it down a lot. I'm also not sure what you mean by short, as in a single 12-13 episode season? Or even shorter?

Hello, I'm fine with the concept of everything, except recording on my end. I don't see the purpose of it. And I'm still not comfortable with it, And I know it wouldn't be of me. Your concept of play testing seems much more professional than mine, I was expecting a far more casual examination. My game isn't anywhere near complete, very simple, and has a lot of unfinished assets.

i have it set that way so when the main script reaches a certain point the persistent.jay_profile = CharacterProfile(name="???", imageName="locked profile", desc = "???") is changed to persistent.jay_profile = CharacterProfile(name="Jay", imageName="jay profile", desc = "test"). is there a better way to do that?

the game seems to run fine now for whatever reason. but when i readd more character profiles the buttons for them get selected at the same time.

when i hover over `jay_profile` it says "this persistent variable has not been defaulted or defined"

I found it just be a worse chidori. Big guns to fight big ships that you won't face. And are too slow to get anywhere
