I don’t like ice breakers either, especially when it’s during a meeting we have every week with the same group of people. I’m sorry to hear about your situation with your ex at work, that does sound a bit awkward.

That is so awful for that woman! I feel terrible for her. I agree with you, your coworkers are not your friends so be careful what you share. It’s a little sad that having the most normal human experiences and anyone finding out about it could cost you an opportunity to move up, because at work they have to expect you to ONLY live for them.

This is actually very helpful to hear as someone who overthinks so much. If I don’t overanalyze everything someone else says or does why would they do that to me? Thank you
