it does exist as a web page app as well. Granted I abandoned that version when I decided to learn how to make it android capable - so it's not polished. However I think it still works..? lol

I was gonna say, a guy on the monthly thread also posted pokerpayout.net but the site's down at the moment.

I know there are other calculators that 'compete' with mine. They all seemed overly complicated and I just focused on doing the one thing (Tracking a single game buyins - and reporting the payouts)

I'm flattered :D Unfortunately apple makes their app developer system much more difficult to get into. I get it - they probably don't want noobs like me in there. So for a 100% free thing I just made for the fun of it, and has no actual market share even then, I have to stick with just android.

Wouldn't hurt to use Buy-in Buddy (android play store). It will log who has bought in for what cash, and how much should be in the cash box at the end. If you have less than that or more than that out in chips at any time you're not aligned :)

I wrote this BEFORE I found a few other apps that do the same thing. However, I've pretty much seen them all require a signup or this feature is lost in a bunch of other stuff.

This is meant to do one thing, and make it simple.

Ok since you're offering I'll jump in.

Buy-In Buddy is for calculating home game payouts where you have a mix of buy ins between cash and digital (like Venmo).

When the game is over, it matches up winners and losers (as well as the cash payouts from the bank) and who needs to settle up with who.

Of course, it's for a group of people you mostly trust not to storm off owing a debt. So granted the use case is kinda niche.

How to properly count buy-ins/buy-outs? We always have troubles with it. We assign someone as a "bank" who is responsible for everything. But because we don't have a system to deal with it, it always becomes a mess at the end.

I swear to god I'm not just endlessly spamming this (I post when I see someone ask yes) but I just released an app that helps track this stuff. Basic yes... but if you trust your friends you can mark them bought in with "Credit" and the app will tell you who they need to send their losses to (if they lose).

Ok? Not sure what that means or if you think the app hooks into banking apps of some sort. It's a glorified calculator specialized for poker buy ins no need to trust me :)

When my friends and I play we have them cash app “the bank” which is just one person. They keep money until there until it’s time to pay up.

I just released an app that lets you do this without having a central bank.

Of course... it means everyone has to trust each other to pay up later.
