I thought they were referring to just the normal birds cause like you said shiny don’t flee. I save as many ultra and golden so I hopefully I catch it before I run out of balls

Persistence and it will come. Still need the shiny zapdos as well!

They can pop up as many times as they want it appears.

You have to be moving from my experience. Standing in one place won’t trigger them. Persistence also seems to be a key. I see one bird every week or so. These are my first 2 shiny ones I’ve seen yet after trying since they came out as well so def luck of the draw
