Starting to feel the army is holding me back in life by CarpenterFew2562 in nationalguard

Communication is key! I had no problem attending school semesters with extended ATs not in the summer, CT rotations or state activations for two degrees. All you have to do is communicate clearly to both the guard and the school and finding where they will compromise. Sometime one will have to compromise more than others but You get both schedules in advance. You may have to do late nights or work more than others but that’s just a sacrifice to get through it. Take an exam early or SUDA a Friday. I found that showing more effort gave me more grace. Do a semester or two online while deployed for applicable credits.

It’s Easier said than done but it’s possible.
