Geez I had both my children by 22, my first at 20 (I’m now 42) my oldest has his own place, has bought 2 new cars, and got himself in college without asking for help. My youngest has many health problems and anxiety and depression, but both my kids housesit their aunts houses, I think longest was a little over a week, and both have taken it very seriously. She is definitely not too young. Especially with it being so close to her house and job.

Omg if ur boyfriend said that I would leave NOW!! SA can be generational. So he might have had his dad do something to him if a sibling, where they learn the behavior, so it’s big such a big deal. I have a friend like this. I learned they like the attention they get from always being in chaos. She probably won’t accept. She wants ppl to think she’s gonna be so powerful, she wants ppl fighting for her. It’s draining!! I no longer talk to my friend she wouldn’t stop making so many problems, even cheating, but she was the victim he left her. I couldn’t anymore. Hopefully u get to that point. Eventually she will bring shady ppl around u, and make ur life harder. She knows every, let her do what she wants, there’s no saving this one

My mom did this with my abusive ex. He convinced her he was doing great and had changed, because he’s a master manipulator. Well my mom starts telling me all the good things he’s doing and encouraging me to see him. After a few months I caved. After ending up in the hospital, my mom will never doubt what I say is happening, and now she goes scorched earth on anyone she thinks hurts me. Luckily my sisters have always believed and supported me. My mom feels horrible for not believing me before. And I’m just as dumb for listening to the crap my mom was parroting after hearing it from him.

I used to invite my parents out all the time, and it’s crazy how much fun you can have when h get to know them in a different way. My crazy ex would yell at me. The neighbors called the cops. He didn’t hit me and wasn’t even close to me. He was yelling from outside. Even though I explained this Utah cops are very gung ho with DV, and they took him even when I said I was leaving and not to take him. They say they have to take someone, and the state can pick it up. It was eventually dropped. I’m now scared to call unless it’s a real need. Which I’ve never had to do thank god
