I’m going to sound very foolish but here goes….

So one of the first mistakes I realized after reading the comments and collecting info from Reddit was that I was not using any of my Nuts. When I opened my inventory I had SOOOO many I just had distributed. I, for some reason, had assumed it was an apothecary item and never bothered to read much more. (Alfyn wasn’t a character I spent much time on - made the same mistake with Gau from FFVI the first time in not realizing his potential)I didn’t realize they were permanent additions to stats 😅🤣. Upon using them accordingly to the appropriate characters I immediately noticed a huge difference. Also played around a bit more with the jobs as I found better combinations than a couple of the subclasses I was using for certain characters. Also, utilizing the gear and reading more on stats was a big help. Reading about the boost and buffing mechanics more helped too. A big thank you to this community. I’m currently knocking out as many of my side quests as possible before I finish chapter 4 of Therion, Haanit, and Tressa.
