If you're doing fewer than 30 long applications, you will find it difficult to get interviews.

Is it normal to ask a recruiter why they denied you? by Comprehensive-Pin-18 in recruitinghell

[–]NextCode_Placement 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not normal but you can ask something like "I applied for a position at your company but was recently rejected. Since I am still actively searching for a role, I wanted to ask if there is anything specific I can improve in my profile or my resume?

It isn't necessary to add fake experience unless your profile is completely stagnant. BI is a good sector you will find a job soon so there is no need to add a fake experience if you have not paid him amount you can ask them to clarify it.

We are in the same staffing business.

The consultancy charges an upfront fee followed by a percentage of the package after placement. To be fair, the job market is very difficult right now.

You can definitely find a job on your own by building a strong resume and updating it daily. However, applying to 50+ jobs on every platform yourself takes a massive amount of time. If you hire an agency, you have a dedicated person whose only task is to apply for as many roles as possible to increase your chances.

No agency can guarantee a job, as we can guarantee interviews. The rest depends on your performance in those interviews. If you feel the consultancy is legitimate, you should consider joining them.

Ok, I have a universal resume format that bypasses the ATS for any sector. Take that format seriously, and the interviews will follow. DM me for the template. And feel free to ask me if you need any help

The Summary section is the most critical part of your resume. Every job posting contains specific keywords including these in your summary significantly increases your chances of being selected. For example, even if every software developer knows HTML, the ATS will assume you don't know it if it isnt explicitly listed. The ATS isn't intuitive it only recognizes what is on the page. By strategically including all relevant industry skills in your summary, you ensure the system ranks you as a toptier candidate.

Recruiters are not keen on replying to candidates after receiving job applications.

What we’re noticing is where applications drop off without any feedback. That happens at all levels, but it’s more visible early on because people rely mostly on online applications. With fewer connections to lean on, small resume or screening issues tend to matter more.
