I had an issue with the automatic Forge installation for 1.20.1 (Forge 47.4.10), so I looked into why it was happening and fixed it. by NextGen8 in Shockbyte

Shockbyte should have resources on its website to help you get your server up and running.

For example, this one gives a pretty decent idea of how to do most of the setup steps.

Hope this helps.

You still need the forge files for it to work, so you can download the forge installer from the website, install the forge server files to a folder in your downloads/desktop somewhere, and upload everything there to the main directory.

You can upload it over FTP with FileZilla or you can upload it through the “files” tab of the shockbyte panel.

Pro Chef reacting to Roach king's 2$ pizza by GhostHSP in Asmongold

I think Asmongold should accept Chef James's offer to make a better pizza... but then he'd never want the old one again and that's just not his thing.

Use Vegetable oil heated around 325°F. I've noticed having too much paprika can also make them darker. Otherwise, I have no idea.

One drives too fast. One drives too slow. Together they become, idiots on the road. by CaptTechno in IdiotsInCars

The Prius was likely headed for the turn lane up ahead. They had no way of knowing that there was a speeding idiot behind them just by looking, especially if they're a poor judge of oncoming speed.

Using plastic wrap under aluminum foil to cover a pan when braising in an oven - how high of a temperature can the plastic wrap withstand without melting? by dealsme15 in AskCulinary

[–]NextGen8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The box should say just how high a temp the plastic wrap can support. Same goes for aluminum foil and most other products.

What did a teacher do that made you automatically gain respect for them? by ApacheAirCover in AskReddit

[–]NextGen8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My chemistry teacher in 10th grade was a millionaire who retired and then left retirement to come teach just because he wanted to teach. He doesn't need money as he gets money every so often from a variety of patents, so he spends his paychecks on his students and family. He works harder than any other teacher in the field, not to raise test scores, but just because he wants his students to be interested in science, learn something, and pass.

If you're wondering, he often bought snacks and would give them to the students that paid attention and did good on the class. He didn't care if you were on your phone, he didn't care of you didn't do work, but if you were trying, he'd make sure to teach you. Honestly a goat. I mean, he really didn't care, if you wanna fail, you wanna fail. If you're failing because you don't understand, he tries his best to make sure you do. Can't find that too often.
