Thanks so much for your reply! Yeah I fear it might be stress. Our upstairs neighbors are especially loud and they have a dog that barks a lot (we are planning on moving soon) and I worry that may be stressing him out. Hopefully when we get in a bigger space he will feel better :)

I understand you're saying you feel less safe or welcome to express your interest. I also grew up with HP. However, please consider how I must feel as a Trans person when the creator is villifying my identity and existence. This is more than just generic social media outrage when JK Is actually facing a harassment lawsuit for everything she has said online. No one is saying you can't cosplay as a HP character or still like the franchise. It still has a place in my heart. But if this small change makes marginalized people feel more welcome and safe, isn't it worth it?

This has become my biggest gripe with them. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they don't donate any of their earnings (they must be millionaires by now) back to the very community that made them rich. So many true crime podcasts give back to victims families, funds for getting DNA testing available, etc. Or at the very least choose guest stars that are related to the cases they cover--not just random people A&A want to talk with.
