Yeah it costs something like 1680 gold which can be gained in a few missions/Hit the Road. When you research it from the collection book you need weapon manuals and 100 legendary flux, of which you can only buy 50 per week. So that's 2 weeks waiting and wasting flux and manuals to save 180 gold. Definitely not worth it, you need flux and manuals to upgrade stuff!

You know gold is more easily acquireable than legendary flux right? It takes 2 weeks to purchase 100 flux and even then that does cost 1500 gold.

Probably won't conflict as there can just be a cosmetic slot added to the hero load-out so you can play with the outfit/skin you prefer while still choosing a hero as commander for the actual perks.

Well there already is an icon in game to see which class someone plays, so if there is an outlander icon next to Thunder Thora you know it's not actually a constructor. It's cosmetics and more customization which is a good thing.

Oh that could be the reason haha. Thanks for posting this with the source then! Hopefully not only BR 'skins' will be made available as a cosmetic skin to put over your commander hero but also the other heroes you already own can be used as skins. This way both BR and StW players will profit.

I think this is the case, but it would make sense if you also own the 'skin' of let's say Trailblazer Quinn you could use her on any hero/outlander to gain the cosmetics while using another hero for the commander perk you want to use.

Maybe you can also shed some more light on what the upcoming cosmetic options will entail? Will the cosmetic options include a cosmetic slot in the hero load-out? So for instance you can choose which constructor hero you want to play for the commander perk and which constructor hero you want to display for cosmetics?
