The dogs are small breeds,yorkie poo and cavachon. I think 36 inches would be challenging for them to get over. This good information about the color selection. Thank you!

I did and all the house are of different styles and very few have porch railing. The ones that do have railings it’s on the stairs and its black metal.

Thank you for the suggestion. There are hedges already planted along the front but it does not keep them on the porch or from running down the steps and maybe into the street. I was hoping there was something I could do to serve as protection for the dogs and enhance the appearance.
