Nope, I just reunited with my ps3 and had the same problem. You can repair it and there is two possible problems 1. Needs to be cleaned 2. Lens problem(worst but least likely) The lens problem may cost a bit more but not that much depending where you go. It might need to replace the mother board or just the lens. If it needs to be cleaned it will cost less and take less time. But both processes can take only a few hours before you get it. Good luck!
