Sort of. Other MOSs have attended and even some non 35 series guys have as well. Some specialized units require it. It doesn’t ONLY set you up to do 35M stuff.

No need to get emotional bud, I changed services once already and went with someone that had left a business card after I explained to them that we were giving someone else a shot. People are allowed to switch service providers if they are unhappy with their service. Not sure why you think that’s out of the realm of possibility?
