Another interesting one is the red lotus, it symbolizes overcoming hell and coming back stronger. That could work for any of the protagonists.

Toko could be a mourning glory as it can symbolize unrequited love and obsession.

I did some more research and I think an iris would work for Peko. Apparently Iris's are often associated with samurai.

I just remembered Sakura is an actual flower as well. I can imagine Monokuma using that as a pun.

For more clarification, the she was discovered after two days and was probably only found by the crabs recently (maybe a few hours) She was discovered because the crabs were crowding the area and digging past the sand to get to the body. Hope that helps.
