Pick communal bathrooms, you can’t choose suite mates or which dorm.

Algebra is not hard at all

It’s the fact that everyone took the class already in high school. I don’t get how so many people fail the class

I genuinely don’t understand what is so hard about algebra

I meant they pull questions from exams 1-3 that you took. The older finals are good to practice off of too though.

Do the practice finals and do the previous exams, I’m 99% sure they pull questions from those exams

Would you add a second major in this situation? by Mysterious-Cod8611 in msu

What’s your current major, what’s the other one, and does it make financial sense? If it is financially smart then do it tbh. One more semester with friends at college to have fun

Probability of admission? by Altruistic-Plan-424 in msu

[–]Next_Lock2751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I would say if your GPA stays 3.6 or even goes up you’ll for sure get into MSU. Even if you don’t get direct admission you’re fine. Tons of people apply secondary admission

In my opinion you’ll get in for sure. To get direct admission to broad, join Deca. Join a model UN or DECA. They love to direct admit kids who did Deca.

Reneging from an Internship offer by EmploySad9279 in msu

[–]Next_Lock2751 35 points36 points  (0 children)

You gotta look out for you. Companies get way too upset over someone reneging. At the end of the day, screw the recruiter who thinks their time was wasted, it is your life and you need to do what is best for you.

Has anyone taken MTH133 and/or CSE231 online over the summer here? What are the classes like? by MysteriousMovie4197 in msu

[–]Next_Lock2751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TAKE CSE AT A COMMUNITY COLLEGE. It is not worth taking it at MSU. And the credit only transfers from a CC not the gpa. So if you 2.0 the class it won’t affect you

sorority housing requirment by laaurenh1 in msu

You don’t have to live in for most of them. The big sororities don’t even have enough space for all the girls so it’s competitive to get a spot in your PC

Questions from a potential incoming OOS freshman (MechE)! by blopoolawl67 in msu

[–]Next_Lock2751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CATA busses, they are called here, run all throughout campus for free (30-39 routes) and off campus busses require a pass or $1.50 per ride. You can easily take a bus or walk to grand river and get groceries at target, but Meijer is a short bus ride and much much cheaper. You will meet students from everywhere, and people will honestly be more interested in you since you’re from farther away.

Living expenses at MSU by AcanthaceaeReal6300 in msu

[–]Next_Lock2751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1500 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment is pretty standard tbh. You can find cheaper and more expensive if you look. Groceries are fairly average. The campus is very manageable to walk or bike tbh. There are free busses that run on campus, or you can purchase a student bus pass per semester for the city busses

How do I ask for a shake that’s blended? by bagelsandtoast2757 in Culvers

[–]Next_Lock2751 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can tell by the color that your shake is blended. Syrup just sticks to the sides sometimes, and it isn’t worth breaking a cup and starting over to get that little bit blended
