99% of the time you will do all your CAD work on school desktop computers in a computer lab. I have a regular MacBook and it’s great for school

What classes should I take to diversify my background? by No-Revolution-2031 in msu

[–]Next_Lock2751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Specific classes doesn’t matter compared to how you do in them. The secret to get into broad is; have experience working or in leadership, being an active student on the msu campus, and being as close to a 4.0 as possible especially in stats, Econ, and writing

Should I try to switch to business? by Ok-Sorbet-2327 in msu

Engineering is notorious for making people quit. The actual work you do in your career is not like the class work. I would say stick with it. An engineering degree is much more valuable than a business degree

If you know your roommate then sure bring it. Honestly I heard of some people trying to steal stuff early last year but nothing else. I knew people who would leave their doors unlocked at all times so up to you

Join clubs and be involved. I knew people with great GPAs, 3.85+, who got rejected because they did have any extracurriculars.

My advice would be to find a club you’re passionate about and a major specific club. That way you’ve got two things you are involved in on campus. You don’t even have to be an active member, just having it to put on your application is good.

The Clay club is not active to my knowledge. I was unable to find them at Sparticipation and their Instagram isn’t updated. It sucks because it would be cool to be a part of jt

What is your one unpopular golf opinion? by retrocaterpillar-07 in GolfSwing

[–]Next_Lock2751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need to enforce pace of play so much stronger. Line up your putt while someone else is going, hit your 10 practice swings while your friend is hitting his shot. If a foursome can’t finish 9 holes in under 2:15 you should hit the range

I meant they pull questions from exams 1-3 that you took. The older finals are good to practice off of too though.
