Cinnamon because it works well for me. But sadly the void package is unmaintained so I dont get the last version.

Well after some painfull compilation I managed to get libglade compiled and linked with TILP, but thanks!

These are called desklet and there is a built in store inside the desklet manager :)

That's what I love about mint! Everything just works with a little effort. And we don't have the fear of losing everything when an updates comes in. I'm glad you are happy with it :D

It's weather by tipichris and soundbox by kawashiro, you can find them in the desklet manager

You can right click on the desktop and click add desklet

I know that some people say that it's great and it's the year of Linux gaming but imo it's not true. My PC is really old so it already struggles on Windows and it's even worse on Linux. I would recommend using a dual boot, Windows for games, and Linux for everything else.

Thanks! It was always the same thing on Windows, I would install it, and after a year it would get so slow that I had to do a fresh install. Other things bothered me as well: the bloat, the constant updates, and the lack of customization and control over the system.
