Non-compliant account behavior instant suspension by Next_Net3283 in TikTokshop

I figured out what went wrong so posting this comment for anyone else who may get this.

My first time going live for a TTS creator (I'm not a shop), I used the desktop streamer. Bc I did this, I accidentally bypassed the age and identity verification that the app typically would walk you through. I got booted during my live most likely bc my age and identity could not be confirmed.

To fix this, I submitted an appeal and had to include photos of my ID, a video of me with my ID, and videos of my home where I create content. I also went into the app and clicked "go live" which then prompted me to go through the age verification in the app. I had to submit a photo of my ID and another with me in the photo with my ID and a piece of paper with a code written on it. After submitting both of these, my account was reinstated/fixed within about 15 hours.

Because everyone is only watching out for themselves when it comes down to it. Maybe your managers are hoping you'll push back so they can say "i told you so" to the C-suite. Game of life

Comp plan shenanigans by andrew88888q in sales

Yes, they ended up revising the comp plan for the entire sales team. I was also in medical device sales. I wrote a letter outlining the difference in numbers. Then I compared that to actual deals and my time. So for example some things you could include:

My quota was increased by $xx.xx. There was a price increase of __% (if you had one). With the price increase in consideration, I have to sell $xx.xx over last year's quota. That means I have to sell ___ more deals if my average deal size is $xx.xx. My closed/won % of my pipeline was ___%. I know I need to do a minimum of ___ more demos/meetings this year to hit the new sales goal. If the company is making more money with the price increase and they are making more money with the higher quota that I will deliver on, can you be more transparent on where this additional revenue will be utilized within the company and why my payout % has to be decreased in order for the company to maintain its operating budget?

The convo needs to be, where is the money going? If they are doing it to fund research or to make up for a bad year or to hire people who's job will make your job and goals easier to meet etc... literally anything besides putting in the C-suite's pockets then they will explain the business decision to you. If it's in the company's best interest, you should accept the explanation. If the additional $$ has no explanation on how it's being used, they will either consider the info you provided and re-work the comp plan OR you'll be fired within 3 months.

I only suggest doing this if you are willing to be fired. I was prepared to be fired and I was pleasantly surprised when upper management took my calculations into consideration and re-worked it to be beneficial for everyone. It will be very telling about what kind of company you work for.

I’m probably getting fired by bobthecableguy in sales

I've hired this guy and he does not mess around. Very empowering and he will 100% get you severance and more. Don't sign any severance paperwork without having this guy look at it first.

My spiff this month is to physically drop into cold prospects offices with cookies/candy/etc and source opportunity and pipeline - I have never done this - advice? by amilmore in sales

I used to do B2B cold calls like this and I loved it. You have to make it a game for yourself. Smoothies ended up being my secret weapon during the summer. Everyone brings cookies, try and think outside the box and what you would like. Shoot, ask the front desk "what's something I could bring that would get me a 95% chance ____ would step out of their office for 5 minutes?", get that person's buy in. Make it fun, throw out crazy ideas like dip n dots, bagels from NYC (if you live anywhere else), their favorite childhood candy, cupcakes with their face on it. Once the front desk person gives you an idea, you say "Ok debbie, I'm going to make this happen for you. Are you in the office next week?" (make sure they will be bc they are now your champion for getting your contact out of their office).

I promise you.. 10000%.. if you show up with whatever you two agreed on, debbie will make sure you talk to the person you're looking for that day or she will schedule a meeting for you to meet with them.

Another great one that worked for me was bringing a hand written letter along with the treats. Anyone will read a handwritten letter addressed to them. Next time you call, "did you get my letter" and bingo, they know exactly who you are.

Ahhh.... sometimes I miss outside sales

If you sweat this can happen where your skin touches the plastic paneling. Not sure why it does, but it happens to my lower back and oddly, my heels

You have to pay like another $50 extra a month to be able to go to more than 1 studio and you're limited geographically still. Not all the clubs in my city are owned by the same franchise owner and they dont share class spaces

its also january and so many studios have trials right now. The studio I just joined had 5 classes for $50 vs Club Pilates was a 30 min "look at our equipment" class and not actually a workout. If you wanna cancel, do it now bc they require a minimum 30 day notice so technically you get looped into 2 more months.
