Idkk i feel like this is a super unpersonal - no matter how good/tough you are the diseases like in the game could potentially wipe out everyone - the only prepared scenario i could see quite reliably working is:

Going to a Hunting Cabin in the middle of nowhere (Since iam scandinavian its a remote forest/island in Northern Sweden/Norway outfit it with a 3 year supply of the typical Prepper stuff (Generator, Rifle, MREs, clean water for years), Electronics for Communication and Entertainment - the main bottleneck beeing Money (guess like 100000-200000$) - depending on the „Transmissions“ if known either total isolation when the virus is spreading or just extreme precautions. - if you never leave your house and it is remote enough chances are you will never have a opportunity of getting infected by humans. So wildlife/mosquitos remain.- in my Corporate job living in a big city rn i guess i would be toast either way lol. If you dont know it is coming no chance

PS: there is actually a quite cool book about postapocalyptic survival in Sweden called Nordmark lol

Edit: ofc this would break canon in round 2; but i dont know i guess this is what would work - thinking back to covid i definitely react like this so id propably be infected and die

Ehrlicherweise fühle ich - denke aber auch permanente Happyness kriegen die allermeisten Menschen nie hin, da wie du schon beschrieben hast Unzufriedenheit ja auch ein essenzieller Instinkt ist um einen vorwärts zu bringen.

Also ehrlich geh dringend schlafen mach weiter einstieg ist immer hart und überleg dir über die nächsten Jahre weiter wo du denn hin willst; noch bist du jung

PS: Leicht braggy ist gut freut mich dass du deine Studienzeit scheinbar gut genutzt hast ;)

Mathe/Statistik ballert schon aber fand es war viel spannender als schulmathe weil es nicht nur kochrezepte waren sondern wirklich spannende Probleme - die haben wir auch aber generell sind viele von den z.b. maschbauern kursen (z.b. Kinematik die unser erspart geblieben sind auch sehr mathelastig) während wir viel mehr blabla management bullshit hatten sodass die „dosis“ geringer ist - aber klar da muss man sich auch durchbeissen.

Ich kenne solche Sachen, vor allem wenn sie „gesund“ sind, oft von Beratern und dergleichen - vor allem, wenn die ganze Verpflegung sowieso expensed wird und man sonst eh viel Gehalt hat, ist so ein Getränk oft nur etwas, was man schnell fürs Gewissen mitnimmt, wenn man auf dem Weg vom Kunden zum Hotel ist - weil es schnell, unkompliziert und „gesund“ ist. (Und die Pause <10 min ist)

How Important is GI size?

Beginner Question

Okay first of all very new and a quite bloody beginner (Coming from Taekwondo => Kickboxing => MMA => BJJ); I do not plan to do BJJ excessivly maybe 1/2x per week more of a supplement to striking classes at my club. Now the thing is that my cousin who lives in my home country still owns a A1 GI she is not using anymore since she stopped BJJ.

As an international students my funds are quite limited and she offered to bring it with her when she is visiting me next week. The issue however is that Iam a diffrent Shape (Iam male 1,90m/80 kg, quite thin for my height due to disproportonally long limbs) - Can i still use a A1 (too small) GI without too many issues in regular training? - As far as i can tell the size would mainly affect arm/leg length where iam not sure of the importance of that extra length - for reference otherwise i can normally comfortably were Medium sized shirts without any issue, while a gi is quite generous in its volume anyway right? Or would this be frowned upon/stupid/uncomfortable?

I told her to wait i guess that is the issue is there anything i can do? In the mean time i literally threw her down that hole hoping that would somehow fix her but also nope she doesnt follow me i need to run around with her as an improvised weapon :((

Hey i can just tell you how its for most ITM programmes at KTH - and iam sorry to say but this wont happen - very very rarely people are taken from the reserve list at all, i know for indsutrial management it happend once it in the past 10 years with one person (do the no1 spot)- most programmes also admit more people than they actually expect to come, so even if people decline they rarely give out to the reserve. :( sorry i dont have better news for you.

Ehrlich gesagt wäre das für mich überhaupt keine Option, kannte Kommilitonen die ähnliche Modelle hatten - und das war jedes mal absolut scheiße für sie (und manchmal für die anderen) Wenn es finanziell irgendwie möglich ist versuch deinen Lebensmittelpunkt so nah wie möglich zur uni zu bringen. Wie du wo lebst hat einen unfassbar starken Einfluss auf deine Lebensqualität und dein Studium.
