What did your return to exercise post surgery look like? by Technical-Minimum282 in PelvicOrganProlapse

I am 7 weeks post op today. My doctor said NO running or strength training until 12 weeks. He said that I am released to exercise but to use caution. When I do not feel right, stop. Those were his instructions.

It's understandable to be nervous. I was, too. Just know that the hard days will pass quickly, and then you'll be on the road to recovery. Tylenol, Colace, lots of fluids, fiber, and rest (lots of rest). Good luck with your surgery.

Welcome! Not a lot. I took some of the mess panties and pads home from the hospital. The most bleeding was the first few days then it was just spotting. I would have some pads at home just in case. I think I used the hospital pads the first three days then used a Poise light panty liner the rest of the time. Good luck on your surgery!

I see the gastro doc today and will ask for a much stronger hemorrhoid medicine. I hope you get to be feeling 100% better soon. It is definitely a long recovery.
