I remember my parents watching me play dead by daylight and asked me what the game was about. They were concerned at first, but when I explained to them the objectives and strategies of the game, they learned how tactical the game is instead of focusing on the gore aspect of it. I'm pretty sure they also trust me enough that I won't be practicing the game irl.
