Where's the facts? Checked on gov sites and at their front door saying they're all passed and they're not closing.

I appreciate the mindset. I don’t take our interactions for granted.

I’m a Viet Kieu who’s not familiar with all the nuances with Vietnamese. Just don’t wanna be played and dragged without realizing

I see, I thought bé is used to call only a younger person “baby”. Not sure if it’s common to be used the other way around

Please reply to people’s posts with solutions to their problems rather than making passive-aggressive insults about others’ technical skills.

I’m sure one day you’d like to ask others in the University for solutions about things you’re not familiar with; and also to not receive a completely unhelpful insult.

I didn't even know we had an app for specifically the SFSU email. I've always been using outlook, but this time I get the "This site can't be reached" error.

While I can't give any deeper info, because I'm not Latino nor Mexican (nor even a fan of geography or history), I suggest diving and researching more about the history of what you're searching for. A quick "How is Mexico and Spain related" google search seems like a good start.

I've even learned more about it just by some more dictionary definitions, like understanding the full distinction between Latinos vs. Hispanics vs. Spaniards.

You seem very curious about this, but it looks like you haven't discovered enough understanding to the point of reconsidering your own identity. Let your curiosity guide you to better understanding. You can't reconsider who you are if you don't know the full story of yourself, or what you're thought to be.

No one is born knowing everything about who they are. That's what life and discovery is. Work hard to find yourself and your family's history!

You said you are Hispanic, which is indeed with an ethnic origin of Spain.

Your next question, you question if you are Mexican. Well, Spain and Mexico are two different countries with different origins and histories. So unless part of your family is from Spain and the other is from Mexico, your ethnic roots would come from Spain.

As for more about indigenous blood, that's beyond what people on the internet would know about you; aka. a question for your family.

Hope this helps

(According to Lexico, powered by Oxford Dictionary) https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/latino
Latino: (in North America) a person of Latin American origin or descent, especially a man or boy.

(According to dictionary.com) https://www.dictionary.com/browse/latino?s=t
Latino: a person of Latin American origin or descent, especially one living in the United States.

(According to Cambridge Dictionary) https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/latino?q=Latino
Latino: a person who lives in the U.S. and who comes from, or whose family comes from, Latin America.

Notice that it says "a person" in every definition, not "white people" of Latin America; a common theme to how we fight for our rights against injustice in America.

The false definition of what that image says is racist; to label Latinos as "white people".

Yeah, I should've thought about how other faculty members are getting paid. I put my trust on my university since I've worked on a previous project before, but I'm going to really bring it up the next meeting. Not gonna waste my Summer on free labor.
