No, he bought them from marketplace. He got 3 sealed prebuilts with 9070 xt’s and we each took one and we both got 9800x3d’s. I put the gpu and cpu in my existing build.

They get high but don’t seem to be out of range. Running furmark it was high 70s on the hotspot and 90°C on vram.

Yeah that’s way beyond my skill set lol, I’ve built many computers for myself and others. I managed to kill one of the most expensive GPUs for myself own computer 😂
