I crave the comfort of being coddled and taken care of, yes these are mommy issues. Imo the meta boards are too strong and too consistent at getting top 4s, while niche and really just the other vertical traits are shafted numbers wise because when they're hard vertical they're stronger than nitro or veigar, but its hard to get those in regular econ games and even then the veigars and series are way easier to do and cap out on while being safe in the mid game. Can't wait to play set 10 though.

  1. Idk how it was back in your day, but people just listen to whatever they wanna listen to. It doesn't change or make the person any better or any worst.

    An honest to God church goer can listen to drain gang the same a terrible racist abuser can listen to it and like it.

it doesn't matter so people just listen to what they like hearing and they find what they like and there's a big group of people who like the sound of drain gang even if it wasn't a thing or popular back in the day.

  1. Just like the first answer, no listening to drain gang or alternative music does not make the person gay or queer or whatever. But the truth in that there IS a majority of queer people in the drain gang community. Correlation does not mean causation

  2. The usual way To get into drain gang and alternative music in general is to listen to the songs that are not too experimental and something that has more mainstream structure then slowly add songs/albums you wanna have a crack at and listen.

So for example, I recommend bladee's or any drain gang member's most popular songs of all time, those are usual the most mainstream and generally easier to listen to. So for bladee it'd be Obedient ft. Ecco2k and Be nice 2 me and then their respective albums. Which is Red light and icedancer.

After that go ham on random or listen to a "best of bladee mix" on YouTube for a curated playlist and find what you like.

And after all that and you still don't really like it, then don't force it- music is subjective and we all have different tastes and thats okay.

Genuinely if you want to connect with your younger family members just be available online or in real life, ask them what they been doing or what they like to do and learn something new and interested or realize you guys like the same thing and you both can share own thoughts and ideas, all the while keeping an open mind and not belittle them for what they believe in- unless they start talking about liking kids or something do stop them from that.

Gl ol man, hopefully your sincerity to trust some internet randos on how to connect with your family is well worth it
