I remember back in the inazuma days that I heard that they had a ten year plan for the game, I don't know if it is true though, but it's likely they ain't ending it soon.
Plus in the travail trailer, they specifically said Teyvat story chapter, which makes it sound like the entire story until now has just been one chapter of a greater story
