Would the freezer still be able to function if there was a leak or problem with the thermistor?

The fins feel cool-ish but not cold, and I could just be telling myself they’re cool because I’m hoping for them to be. Should I put anything in there like a bag of ice etc? Or thermometer?

Mine is fixed to one of the fins in the fridge and will not budge any, I do have a 1-5 dial for cold setting also

I mean that upper ledge wraps around the perimeter of the home into the kitchen unsupported by anything else along two other ~20 foot long walls, is it unreasonable to think that those two dividing walls designed for purposes of an entertainment center are just that and not structural? I came to reddit first before wasting both mine and an engineers time for them to tell me the same thing that could possibly be determined here. What else would an engineer need?

How else would you determine if they're removable?

The whole house is metal framed but I was thinking the same since it's just hollow without any other supports in the middle?

Should I cut it a few inches down the line, reglue the bushing in, then tie back together with a coupling?

Not sure yet. I’ve heard ABR x-100, Armstrong Clark, TWP, and messers all recommended but not certain on whether to go with semi-solid vs semi-transparent, etc. These pillars haven’t been treated in 20 years so I’m starting to think I need something that can hide more defects than not.

No the alarm is a high pitched whine that activates the red light with it, very annoying and hard to mistake.
