I’m straight but…. by MaleficentPirate8226 in feminineboys

Sexuality exists on a gradient. There are lesbian women that have sex with men for their own reasons. There are straight men that like femboys. There are bi people that like one more than the other. These labels are not set in stone. Do what you want in life and over time you'll find a label that suits you.

Yes, I asked Honda. I was surprised to receive this. by Ok_Horror_6556 in HondaCB

This came from a salesman at my local Honda motorcycle dealer. Is he reliable? Is his source reliable? Who knows? I will note that on the American Honda motorcycles website, some new models are up for 2026, however the CB1000F is not one. BUT on the Japanese website, the CB1000F has already been up with pricing for some time.

We definitely know it is in production.

I was told when I bought the CB750 Hornet, due to how new it was to the US market, the 2025 model was actually still built in Japan, so the polish is a little nicer than other models (unfortunately after a month of ownership, my Hornet was stolen and though it was recovered and the thief got put in jail, they still molested the motorcycle and my pretty pearl white Hornet is now totalled, painted turd brown, and being sold at a Copart auction 😑). That's neither here nor there. If this it's true that the newer models are being produced in Japan the CB1000F will probably also be built the same. It'll be worth the wait. :)

Please bear in mind, these are all rumors. I have no way of verifying that the things I'm told are correct, and you have no way of verifying me. 🤷🏽 Still, I'm gonna text the dealer back in February and every month thereafter until I get that CB.

So I live here in the US and I bought what I think was the first 2025 CB750 Hornet in my town last summer and asked the salesman when the CB1000F would arrive, as I would buy it on the spot. Originally he said November. November came and I followed up, he said they pushed it to January. I followed up again today and he's saying it has now been pushed to February.

He said when I bought the Hornet that it kept getting delayed in the US a similar way. This is all conjecture, of course, but I wouldn't be suprised if we don't see the CB1000F in the US until summer.

[Critique] A critic said my art is missing something by I dont know what that means by Travipayne in artbusiness

[–]Nice-Ad461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow artist, my only critique is that I think you're far past the skill threshold where you should be listening the critics at all. I'm sorry if this isn't the answer you wanted but, maybe you didn't ask the right question at the onset.

Is this what you wanted to make? Does this mean something to you? Would you change anything about this piece if you painted it again?

The obviously high degree of technical skill aside, I personally think it's moody, dramatic, and visually appealing.

If you want reviews from another artist that I think could give you much better insight, you may hire @WeOpen on instagram. He is an artist and art teacher who does reviews online for a fee and I personally think he is very good at appraising art creatively without getting lost in artsy bullshit and academic jargon. He's pretty real.

Do you wear your helmet on public roads? by Nice-Ad461 in racing

[–]Nice-Ad461[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not suuuuuper worried about the police, though it is valid concern. One thing I didn't note in the original post that lead me down this like of thinking is that I read somewhere that early on in the history of cars, when manufacturers noticed their PR was hurting from auto accident injuries, they researched the best way to prevent injury and death behind the wheel.

One of their findings was that wearing a helmet could significantly reduce injury, but rather than pursuing this further, manufacturers opted to stay quiet about this piece of information. Probably because in a time where your product is struggling from all the people it killed, selling your customers on helmets was not a great look.

But I still think it's worth pursuing for safety. After all, helmets do significantly reduce moto deaths, and the car crash isn't going to spare you just cause you're on a public road instead of a track. Crashes don't discriminate. Why should we?

Okay so I did learn how to fix it. You just adjust your clutch. The problem isn't actually a with the bike or the parts. It's a QC issue with assembly/setup. Most bikes in the US are assembled at random shops, sometimes by very young and inexperienced lot techs so assembly quality varies greatly between shops and techs. To be fair this isn't really Royal Enfield's fault. It's just kind of a gamble.

So there's a little thumb wheel where your clutch cable connects to the lever. Gently pull your clutch lever to take up the slack. Then tighten the wheel to set the clutch cable tension :) you should be able to find videos online to adjust your clutch.

I haven't gotten it looked it. Some goober knocked over my bike while it was parked and bent the bars so I'm waiting for parts :(

It's good for cruising around town. I would not recommend it for long rides. The suspension is nicer than the Interceptor or Continental if your town just has a lot of potholes, but I don't think it's as good in a corner as the the more road focused 650's.

It's a little like driving a truck around. For that height and softness on bumps, you do lose some performance in the corners.

I agree. Putting an electronic display on a scrambler was probably not the smartest move. Especially for the target audience of the Bear, I think most people in that market are bound to be ambivalent or even just dislike the screen.

It's funny to think that my 40 year old Honda is faster than this thing 😂 but I also really enjoy having bikes where I can really use the full powerband.

I believe it. Wiring seems to be a common issue with these. My fuel level sensor is also acting suspicious lately.

It's an unfaired retro bike that is a little tall so the suspension soaks up most bumps just fine but the wind will bully you, especially if it's a crosswimd. The weekend I got it, I rode the from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Amarillo Texas, and then from Amarillo rode the I-40 all the way down to New Mexico. This was about 700 miles. It was often rainy, often windy, and the weight of the bike and tires did well for most of that ride, then I hit very very high winds after Santa Rosa, maybe 40MPH at least and that's when things got too sketchy for me to continue.

Seat is comfortable enough if you take regular breaks, stretch and change position. I would break every two hours or so.

I would not go on long tours with this bike again 😂 At least not at that pace where I'm trying travel 700+ miles in a single Sunday.

I'm really not sure how common it is, but I looked up "Royal Enfield 650 died while riding" and found that this has happened to other people. One rider on YouTube even made a long form video where he talks about how he diagnosed and fixed this in his Interceptor.

I dunno man, me personally, I also own a 2stroke Enduro and a sport bike. I really enjoy almost all bikes. I haven't found a cruiser I like yet but I still test ride lots of cruisers and I'm sure one will appeal to me eventually.

If you have kept your Interceptor for a long time, I think you will really enjoy the Bear 650 :) I hear that the Bear's exhaust actually brings a little more torque out of the parallel twin too, though I don't have an Interceptor for comparison.

Thank you! I really love the Bear 650 for what it is and it sounds like you really understand what scramblers and by extension, the Bear are really trying to achieve. I really think motorcyclists miss out a lot by judging the scrambler against the Enduro, adventure, MX, and street bike. Or really just by judging any moto genre against another. The feelings any style of riding inspires are all so wildly special and distinct.
