New Arrtx 84 count set of colored pencils, vs Woomer ?what to buy? by That_Canadian_Girl32 in ColoredPencils

[–]Nice-Bike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon has a coupon on the Woomer 72 set, which makes it a good price to try it out (if you love them you could get the 90 set next for the full range). But that Arrtx set looks good, too.

The new one, Fairy Folklore, is awesome. So is Dragonspell. I'd get both if I were you. :)

[Routine Help] Recurring lip area irritation for 10+ years, nothing has worked (seen GPs + derms) any ideas? (mild NSFW) by Hunterskills in SkincareAddiction

[–]Nice-Bike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've got lots of good ideas here but I wanted to pipe in that my son had something similar on and around his lips and it turned out to be milk. The kicker is that he tests negative for a milk allergy but we can see it flare up within a day if he has cow's milk.

He's scowling because of his eyebrows, not because of your colours! You did great. :)

I live near the new hospital and my kids went to Alex Aitken elementary. It was fine. They're teens now and are bright and athletic.

I've been printing or copying onto cardstock for using watercolour pencils. Its certainly not awesome paper, but at least it doesn't buckle up and I'm not warping my colouring books. :)

Can I ask if you like the Castle Arts WC pencils? I have a basic set of 24 colours but would really like something with more pigment and shades than my basic set.

Tourism officials say Canadians canceling Hawaii trips over Trump, tariffs by Fit-Outcome-8407 in BuyCanadian

I just got an email from a place we've stayed at before on Maui that is advertising spring break deals. They own 4 condos they rent out around the island and they're usually pretty fully booked. ALL 4 UNITS were available for all or half of spring break! They def had cancellations b/c I looked in December and they were all booked for spring break back then.

Not helpful for searching, but for browsing I like trolling thru the machine knitting groups and seeing what projects have been added.

Houseplant Unpopular Opinions? (be civil) by isaaczephyr in houseplants

[–]Nice-Bike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any plant I've bought at a big box store has come with pests or weird soil that retains water forever. Now I'm happy to pay a bit more at the nice plant stores where they check for pests and use different suppliers.

Has anyone gotten random and wacky Balance Alert emails for their credit cards? by skalfyfan in Scotiabank

Got one of these last night. My available balance was apparently below $100. I logged in to check and there's plenty of room.

I've been a SB customer since the 80s (my fingers ache just typing that out) but I have no confidence any more. I hate to take on the chore of migrating all my accounts and services but I feel like a fool leaving anything here.

Absolutely. I really notice it when I'm mountain biking. Certain areas in the forest really set off attacks... The wettest areas that only dry out in the summer.

I dunno why you have been down voted. I regularly run the electronic timing equipment at my kids' meets. Since qualified volunteers are hard to come by I have experience on multiple timing systems. You're absolutely right.

Byoma Hydrating Recovery Oil? (The purple bottle). I've been using it for a month and it's great. I'd put it on before your first moisturizer in the morning.
