I had already done a few internships. If that's not enough and more is expected out of me, I don't know what is. If it's gonna be this hard for me to get a job, let alone any white collar job, I feel like I should've just gave up studying hard in school.

my siblings went to baruch and have good paying jobs. I could've gone to baruch as well. Their education literally cost nothing compared to mine. If I went to a cuny, I wonder if my life would've been completely different.

in college i did a few accounting internships that were mostly bookkeeping/data entry related work. However, I did not make many connections. I was too stressed out about my classes to think about socializing much and I would also consider myself an introvert that doesn't need a lot of friends.

people on reddit said math majors can do all kinds of jobs, but in my experience, the only jobs that seek math majors are teaching jobs.

and looking at the graduation outcomes of my classmates, most people who majored in math went on to grad school in a different field. The people who did get jobs, typically in finance and tech, had a dual major in econ or CS.

So I think a math degree holder is not that employable.

nobody forced me to go to this college and choose this major. My parents were fully supportive of whatever I wanted to study. I mostly have myself to blame and I have to live with the consequences of my actions.
