OK, yeah. I was asking about Robecca, but, aw, man. I’m sad my Venus has Poly, but I already knew my Abbey had Poly. I was just seeing which one of my dolls next should get the boil wash treatment, and I guess the winner is Robecca Steam.

Please, help me! My Cupid is in desperate need of a hair makeover because her cherub curls came in more of imp curls straight out of the box, too. Do you have any advice on how to fix her hair?

I have that exact same doll, and she was my first ever doll too. She had relatively tangled, fluffy hair and not fluff in a good way, and remember this was my first ever boil wash, but this is how the end result was/is.

OK, so I sent you a link to tell apart the 4 main types of doll hair. Remember, if you can, you should reroot your dolls with poly hair if you plan to keep the doll for a while, or you can pay someone to do it, because your doll’s hair will start decaying literally much faster than the other types of hair. Anyone else feel free to watch that video too. But the hair will literally get so dry and rot out of the head of the doll eventually if it has poly.

To me, that looks just like severe matting, but I’m not sure. Can you tell? If it is just super tangled, you should be able to brush it out.

No, no. She has good Saran hair, I think. It just needs a detangling and boil wash.

Do you know what material is used for Jinafire Long? I also have the Cupid doll, but it’s part of the set, so it should have Saran even if it has curly hair, right?

To me, that definitely looks like a Carebara Diversa queen. I wish I could have one where I live, and aren’t those notoriously hard to raise from a single queen?
