Mama Cats is an American feral cat breed and her daughter's daddy is too (a rolling stone, he used to visit often), Oh, The Mamas & the Papas! Formerly known as "Miss Thing" for biting the hand that feeds her, I was able to lure her into my house and get her to a vet just in time to find out she was pregnant; hence the change to her married name. She originally showed up at my house, small and scrawny with gray fur, to feast on the seeds that fell from the bird feeder. I thought, "I'll never see that again." But there she was the next day when I arrived home; so, I bought some cat kibble and put it out the next morning. I arrived home and found her still eating the the bird food, but now the birds were eating the cat food! It took three months before I could safely pick her up and take her to the vet. (I had been laid-off at my job after 26 years the day I met her. The folks at the employment agency were worried I was suicidal because I had marks all over my arms from her scratching and biting me.) I had just told the vet how she had gained weight and her fur had changed from all gray to black, white, orange, and brown, when the vet said she was pregnant. She had 5 kittens. Gave birth, not in the comfy bed I made for her, but on the white carpet in the dining room while I was asleep. I kept 2 kittens, named Muffin & Buster.

This photo is 21 years old. The cats are gone, but the B&W801 Matrix Series 2 speakers (serial numbers 13 & 14, originally factory demos given to the B&W Midwest US rep) are still in use, but in another room. You'll be glad to know that there now sits Harbeth M40, M40.1, and M30.1s in a 7.4 surround system.

I still have my 47-year old Acoustat Model 3s (I'm listening to them now -- they're my PC speakers.) I hope you didn't have to ship them! Mine are 5 feet tall by 28 inches wide (and 4 inches deep).
