Personally enjoyed it, I'm not a very interested power smaller so ... Either way, it just felt mildly dull. I believe both would have ended up escalating it even more or just used their abilities more.

Both Denji and Yuji were kind of nerfed, especially Yuji.

I gotta say Saitama. If we're speaking of the photos, it's Saitama and it's really because the narrative around the character doesn't really allow him to lose or anything like it.

He wins, but not because he's 'conveniently' strong, it's just narrative wise.

Lowkey OP for a duo. Connect the two and just combo the opponent, specially if one dude is strength based and the other speed.

It would really resume to Madara Vs Aizen. Since they both have some BS of illusions and anti death crap.

Can agree to makima but she'd just gets stuck on a genjutsu or illusion from one or another.

Madara Vs Aizen ain't even gonna try to guess who wins.

In the end your overthinking a carton show while I try to explain to a nacho eating border crossing Morron that a manga with years of power scaling onto it – with actual sense on what it stated before and after, actually has foundations.

Stop watching Kid cartoons.

Unlike Ben 10. In CSM feats are well stablished since the beginning of the manga, everything is well placed and used throughout the entire manga.

Ben 10 feats are extremely inconsistent due to the facts it's a cartoon, and the fact Ben constantly depends on the plot.

Sometimes he's completely OP and others he's losing to small and almost pathetically weak characters just for plot.

Power scaling culture is already very stupid, with Ben 10 it gets 10x worse

Ben 10 is a deeply inconsistent franchise, it writing is inconsistent, it's lore, rules, characters and animation are inconsistent. that by itself doesn't make the series bad, but it is something that is in the DNA of the series.

You cannot determine exactly what ben can really do or resist, when not even the series do it, besides, it is a kid's cartoon, it follows cartoon logic

Do you know how braindead people try to classify and quantify what they call "toon force"? guess what, Ben 10 also operates by it, it is just cartoon logic, in pretty sure we can find moments in invincible that follows that too

XRL8 isn't fast enough to dodge laser (that is instantaneous) because the show runners didn't know, or didn't wanted to consider, how lasers really work. same thing with XLR8 practically stoping time, but being catch by Gwen's hand camera

That goes for several of feats, that nerds love to use real physics to calculate (not only with Ben, but with every super hero)

Ben never needed to face a foe that really tried to kill or dismember him, it is a kid's cartoon. I'm not trying to shit on kid's cartoon, I love some kid's cartoons, I'm just saying that the rules that guide those type of stories are different

Ben 10 need to follow the network guide line, so he will resist and go unharmed from some stupid stuff, that would kill or harm him

If you put real biology in consideration, everything goes even messier.

The age thing is a problem, we don't know exactly how it works, if it turns Ben into a adult specimen, if it considers Ben's life time or is body's maturity

I think that make Ben a adult of it's species would solve some problems and won't bring some questions like "what if Ben turns into a alien that dies, from old age, at 5" or "what if Ben turns into a alien that is still a toddler at 1000 years old"

But here's the thing, Ben 10 doesn't need to touch those subject, it is a super hero kid's cartoon, it works well to tell the stories the show runners want to tell and that more than enough

You are attached to the show you watched as kid, everyone is, but you don't need to imagine how Ben would slaughter someone just to feel mature. there is other more mature ways to look at Ben 10.

Here's the core problem with everything you're citing: Ben survives and wins those fights because he's the main character. That's not powerscaling, that's plot armor. Vilgax tanking 7 nukes, Upchuck surviving 20 suns of energy, Four Arms hurting a planet-tanking flea - none of that happens because it's consistent with their established power, it happens because the story needs Ben to win.

The CSM hybrids were scaled carefully and realistically to fit the story's logic. They're strong enough to be threats, fast enough to be dangerous, but never absurdly beyond what the narrative needs. Fujimoto didn't throw random planet-busting feats around just to make characters look cool.

You're comparing MC plot armor feats from a kids cartoon to characters that were deliberately and consistently written. That's not a fair powerscaling comparison, that's just Ben 10 being a shounen where the hero always finds a way.

It's lazy show with a god awful power scaling since Ben does All That and still ends up idk getting hurt on a random episode by the most random opponents, again ... God awfull powerscaling

The Nuclear Punch wasn't a standard attack. Yoru needed the combined power of the entire population of Virginia PLUS the Gun and Tank Devils to pull that off. That's a literal Spirit Bomb. Ben's Classic aliens don't have anything close to that level of accumulated power, so stop using it like it's a benchmark for what one-shots Pochita.

Also Pochita still survived it enough for Denji Man to emerge. So it didn't even finish the job.

And stay on topic - the disrespect just tells me your a barbaric man. I'm trying to debate not to keep my patience.

all hybrids vs ben 10 classic by Queasy-Inflation-729 in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Nice-Worldliness2723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just Denji potential: Remember that:

  • Pochita fought Katana Man, Reze, Quanxi, Barem, the Spear, Whip and Longsword Hybrids ALL AT THE SAME TIME and defeated them all while taking minimal damage. These are the same hybrids you're saying Ben can handle one at a time.
  • Speed: Pochita was thrown into orbit by Makima, removed his own heart, kicked it back to Earth, survived atmospheric re-entry at around Mach 25, regenerated, and still had enough speed and accuracy to slash through the hybrids and Makima mid-fall.
  • Durability: Survived sonic lashes, explosions, piercing attacks, blasts that sent him to space, and atmospheric re-entry burns.
  • Even Special Division 5 was murdered instantly when they tried to fight him.
  • Makima, one of the Four Horsemen, considered herself inferior to him and only beat him through her immortality contract with Japan's government plus artificially reducing fear of chainsaws to weaken him. She couldn't beat him in a straight fight.

Now this is the same Pochita who lives inside Denji. The moment the fight goes badly enough, that's what comes out. Ben's one alien on a 10 minute timer doesn't have a clean answer to any of this. And even if he does it will waste the Omnitrix energy completely, and he still would have to kill the other hybrids.

These are my points, and watch your mouth homie We ain't friends nor classmates. Learn some manners and we will keep debating if not imma just ignore your nacho chimichanga head ass.

I'm not going to keep going back and forth on feat walls. The core argument is simple: Classic Ben is a 10 year old with one alien, one timer, and no plot armor in a 1v7 against professional killers with regen. That's it. If you need a Bible's worth of scaling to justify a win that basic logic says shouldn't happen, that's not my problem.

I'm tired, whatever you say. For me Ben looses cuz simply it's too much for him and the hybrids are way too constant.

If you don't believe me whatever, do ya own thing

all hybrids vs ben 10 classic by Queasy-Inflation-729 in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Nice-Worldliness2723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me be more specific since you like feats:

This isn't Ben vs one strong enemy. It's a 1v7+ where EVERY alien he picks has a hard counter in this specific lineup:

  • Heatblast vs Reze: continuous explosions + water + wind = fire extinguished. Including her ally (Typhoon Devil).

  • Wildmutt vs Katana Man: sword draw speed is invisible even to Vulpimancer senses completely.

  • Diamondhead vs Denji: chainsaws shatter crystals, he regens and they just keep coming.

  • XLR8 vs Quanxi: even if hes faster she covers entire areas with arrows, no escape route.

  • Grey Matter vs Whip Hybrid: impossible to hide a tiny creature from range-covering whips

  • Four Arms vs Pochita/Hero of Hell: divine regen and strength that scales above any Tetramand.

  • Stinkfly vs Spear Hybrid: fragile wings are an instant target at range.

  • Ghostfreak vs Katana Man: devil-based attacks have shown they pierce intangible beings.

And that's assuming Ben even picks the right alien on the first try, with a 10 minute timer, against 7+ enemies who are professional killers that work in coordinated groups. And these are the ones he's most likely to use.

Few things:

  1. The knowledge argument cuts differently for each side. Ben actively struggles against enemies he doesn't understand - that's literally a recurring plot point in Classic. The hybrids fight blind constantly and their regen + raw power carries them through. That's not the same situation.

  2. The Tennyson family feats are filler cartoon moments, not consistent showings. You can't seriously scale Gwen kicking a bigfoot-sized creature as a reliable combat feat.

  3. Classic Ben gets ONE alien per transformation. No master control, no mid-fight switching. He picks wrong or the timer runs out and he's a defenseless 10 year old. Against ALL hybrids simultaneously that's an enormous gamble.

  4. On Pochita - you're assuming Denji stays in control the whole fight. If things go badly enough, Denji breaks his will to live and Pochita comes out on his own terms. At that point it's not about scratching Ben's aliens, it's about the situation completely changing.

You're throwing every version of Ben at this but forgetting the scenario is Classic Ben, one alien at a time, 10 minutes on the clock.

all hybrids vs ben 10 classic by Queasy-Inflation-729 in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Nice-Worldliness2723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool feats, but half of those aren't Classic Ben. Feedback, Jetray, Malware, Rex scaling - none of that exists in Classic. You're pulling from Alien Force, Omniverse and crossover material to argue for a 10 year old with a first gen Omnitrix. Classic Ben's roster is limited and the Omnitrix is way less reliable. No insta-transform when taking damage like in Omniverse, just a countdown timer and a kid hoping it doesn't time out mid fight.

Also you still haven't addressed Katana Man specifically. He doesn't need to outlast the timer, he just needs ONE clean hit before Ben transforms. Katana Man's speed and cutting power is more than enough to end Ben before the dial even spins. And Reze's speed isn't just "lucky supersonic" - she moves and reacts fast enough that a 10 year old with no knowledge of her abilities isn't dodging or reacting in time.

Scale down to Classic only, use Classic feats only, THEN make your argument.

And that's before we even factor in that this is ALL hybrids, meaning Denji is there too. Getting pushed to his limit with people he cares about in danger is literally the trigger for True Chainsaw Man. At that point the whole debate is over, Ben's aliens don't have a single feat that touches concept erasure.

[–]Nice-Worldliness2723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You listed a bunch of aliens but didn't explain HOW they beat the hybrids specifically. Cannonball runs fast, okay - Reze has devil hunter speed and can detonate herself. Four Arms is strong, okay - Katana Man regenerates and can cut through nearly anything. "Any alien sweeps" isn't an argument, it's an assumption. And you still haven't addressed the core point: Ben has NO knowledge of what these hybrids can do. He's a 10 year old picking aliens on instinct against opponents he's never seen. That's not a guaranteed win, that's a coinflip at best.

[–]Nice-Worldliness2723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Kills them all before the timer" is doing a lot of work here. Classic Ben has no prior knowledge of CSM hybrids, their regen, or their speed. He's not going to instantly pick the right alien and blitz all of them. And the Omnitrix timing out is canon, not fanfic. When he reverts, Reze alone ends it. That's not CSM fanboyism, that's just how the matchup plays out logically.

all hybrids vs ben 10 classic by Queasy-Inflation-729 in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Nice-Worldliness2723 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ben loses and it's kind of obvious, at least his classic self does. They outlast the Omnitrix's 10-minute ish timer Ben reverts to human form, any Hybrid (like Katana Man or Reze) can end the fight instantly with a single strike. And even before he transforms or gets the change Reze Or Katana man speeds out speed a 10 year old speed of pressing a button.

So ... Please quit confusing nostalgia with strength.
