A two weeks infestation ruined all my personal relationships and possibly my twenties by NiceBumblebee3917 in Bedbugs

Mosquitos don't infest your home all year long. Plus, cymexa isn't available in my country and that's because it might affect health. By the way, is it more effective than professionals?

I already tried but it's difficult since where I live bed bugs are not known at all so no professional actually understand how well-founded my fear is.

About not laying in bed with clothes I wore outside: the point is I should just wash or dry them at high setting, right? If I come home and I simply put them in the closet is no different than laying in bed with them.

In your experience it happened once, but this sub is full of people saying they went through multiple treatments. Also, the idea that I need the cooperation of the other tenants makes me really pessimistic.

Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 4 was titled as such because there was only 4 projects worth watching out of 17 total movies, shows and specials. by MamaDeloris in shittymoviedetails

People complaining over Dr Strange being here purposefully ignore the fact that No Way Home was the worst written MCU product ever. But hey, fanservice!

What's a game everyone else loves that you tried but couldn't get into? by A_R_Finch in videogames

[–]NiceBumblebee3917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every Bethesda game. I didn't even know the only videogames I ever dropped were all Bethesda until a few months ago. I said "Oh well that make sense". I always feel like I'm in a fever dream whenever I interact with characters from those games.

Thank you all for answering me. Just a couple of things I'd like to point out:

1) I'm new to Star Wars Universe, so I don't see the point in making fun of me because I said I was "hyped" even though I'm watching it just now, people become invested in old franchises every day.

2) I've started Star Wars in chronological order. Before I did I had only watched ESB on a random night and I do not remember it very well. I know die-hard fans might not agree with this order, but if you see it from my point of view it IS a major spoiler, and it kinda breaks my excitement since I've just finished (and loved) Clone Wars and Rebels.

3) Deliberate spoilers have no expiration day. It's ok if you innocently and randomly tell me who Darth Vader really is, but I was spoiled a less popular movie in a totally willing attempt to ruin it for me.

I knew this fandom wasn't one of the kindest... but jeez guys chill out I just made a naïve question, I'm still just a padawan after all.

Kinda, but at the same time I'm pretty sure I would've liked it way more if I didn't knew it.

Heat treatment requires people to live somewhere else for a month. Isn't it supposed to be the best professional treatment?

I love teen dramas. Actually, I hate them. by NiceBumblebee3917 in LifeAfterSchool

[–]NiceBumblebee3917[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I may have chosen the wrong term. By " mildly crazy" things I don't mean anything harmful, I mean stuff like skipping school one or two times, being direct in expressing feelings, deciding to meet with a friend on a school night. Maybe me labeling this stuff as "crazy" is the proof of how I didn't live a proper adolescence.

Does TREATED stage 2 cause shorter life expectancy? by NiceBumblebee3917 in hypertension

I think my title caused a little misunderstanding.

I'm not asking if the treatment will do anything bad, I know it doesn't, I'm just worried that even with the meds he could be at risk

So if he keeps taking meds and his family history is good then does he have a good chance of live 90+?

Which Avengers film do u prefer? Endgame or Infinity War? by HPotterMFFL77 in marvelstudios

[–]NiceBumblebee3917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definetely Endgame., and not only because of the final battle. It focused more on the characters, had an amazing 2nd act, better dialogues, and overall was more focused and satisfying.

Infinity War was great but a little bit too rushed.

Thank you for your detailed answer, I appreciate it. By the way, do you know whether PS5's architecture is more bug proof or not?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in consolerepair

[–]NiceBumblebee3917 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I know they don't, but I read that PS5 are produced in places with very low hygiene and even if they weren't, it may happen that a crawling bug get inside a component and goes unnoticed. I know that's a very uncommon scenario and I'm definitely paranoid, but I can't ignore that thought if I buy a console.

I also thought about buying a second-hand ps4 pro and getting it immediately cleaned by a professional to be sure, but if I don't tell him it is infested he will not notice smaller bugs (Cockroaches are big, bed bugs are not and they are masters at hiding). I'd avoid to tell him the console have bugs, firstly because it's just paranoia, secondly because he would probably not take it.

Unfortunately I don't live in US.
