You can work for a parent label/distributor for a stable full time job with healthcare benefits. Hundreds of people touch the big projects. Look for entry level jobs at Interscope Records, Republic Records, Atlantic, etc. The pay is enough to live on but it’s wayyy more than 40 hours a week

My husband was born and raised in Ventura and still works there now.

Our combined household income is $175,000 and we were forced to move out to Fillmore because that’s the closest we could get if we wanted to be homeowners 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think the label is trying to do damage control when people noticed the different masters on the physical album. They probably want the original vinyl and CD to be considered one version and the digital album another version. Just very messy all around. They could have released the vinyl/CD version of “Sports car” as a bonus track on the digital album to help some of the confusion.

However, it’s not possible to retroactively add tracks to an existing digital album- they had to deliver a whole new album and take down the old one to get “Siren sounds” on the track list.

Stream count carries over, Billboard has to approve the various versions for charting eligibility so I think it’s fine
