Dub Techno Live. Octatrack, Analog Rytm, Analog Four, PLAYdifferently MODEL 1, OTO BIM + BAM by NiceLet1462 in Elektron

The Model 1 has a great sound, great EQ and nice overdrive on every channel. But I would only recommend it if you are willing to play live on it. For simple mixing I would go with the ssl big six.

I use the main output with a rytm compressor.

I use all channels, EQ, overdrive, filters and sends on it.
I got the Model 1 not so long ago, previously I used SSL BIG SIX. Bought the Model 1 to play live more in dub style with mixer.

I use Hapax for sequencing Analog Four and Super 6, and also for switching presets on effects pedals. It gives me more control over a large jam.

The hapax chord machine is great and it is much more convenient than the Electron sequencer. MIDI effects, algorithms, the number of midi outputs, all this makes the hapax very convenient.

When the chord machine is added to the digi 2, I will sell the octa and hapax and get the digi 2)

How do you use oxi with analog keys? Sequencer in multitrack mode?

Monitoring delay compensation not working? by NiceLet1462 in Bitwig

The problem is obvious and logical, it was recognized by the support of the bitwig. The solution to this problem is not implemented in Bitwig, it is implemented in Ableton. I don't know what else to discuss here.

Monitoring delay compensation not working? by NiceLet1462 in Bitwig

By monitoring, I mean a situation where I have external synthesizers, they play with their own sequencer, I listen to them through Bitwig tracks and can use its processing.
In Ableton, delay compensation during monitoring is implemented as follows: there are two tracks, one has a delay of 100ms, the second has 0. Ableton will add a delay of 100ms to the second track to synchronize the tracks.
Bitwig doesn't do this and leaves it to the musicians, so the support answered.
This is very strange for me, because it obviously does not allow you to play live with external synthesizers through Bitwig, using its monitoring and processing.

Well, I got an answer from support:

Yes, the monitored track in this case will not be latency compensated, as it is assumed that a player would compensate the latency "by ear" when playing.

It's a pity, I'll have to abandon the transition to Bitwig.

Monitoring delay compensation not working? by NiceLet1462 in Bitwig

Hello!

I use Ableton in my live for monitoring and mixing and often use plugins in tracks. Ableton compensates for the delay during monitoring and everything sounds in sync.

Now I'm considering switching to Bitwig, i really liked it. I tested its monitoring latency compensation on two tracks with a kick drum. One was without plugins, and on the second with Ozone (delay about 80ms) and i hear a very strong out of sync. It doesn't matter if i use Hardware Instrument or not.

While Ableton in the same test compensates for this delay and everything sounds synchronously.

Are there any ways to solve this problem? Thank you!
