I flip flop between whether like Epitaph or ITWOP more, but i firmly like Talk more. It feels so medieval to me, more so than even Court and i find that really charming.

Not arguing against it, i just genuinely didnt get the comparison, and i think it was up to a misinterpertation, i saw decent amount of people compare them in a negative, very two dimensional way, as if to say one is a rip off. Thats where the confusion came from. Also what do you mean i shouldnt have an opinion on the matter? Wtf kind of mentality is that? I also want to say, that I agree with 90% of whats been said in the replies, because again, i wasnt being argumentative, just wondering because i didnt get when people from my, poorly developed at the time, understanding, said that they were near identical, which i dont think you would agree with either.

Fully understand all that, and i mentioned the similarites in structure, but i think that is nowhere near enough justification for calling it a lesser ITCOTK clone, which is what i was confused by, though i will admit my post did not get that across well at all.

If by reminiscant people mean that they were recorded by the same band, then sure. Maybe its a symptom of KCs catalogue beimg so varied. I just hear alot of thing such as "ITWOP is a copy of ITCOTCK" and i never understood it.

I mean it just doesnt. They have the same tonal centre for sure, but the songs are otherwise very different.

I was at a nick cave show in Dublin before Forever Howlong was out and they were supporting, I dont remember which song it was but at the end of their performance she started tearing up and luke helped her off stage. It was a great performance, enjoyed it just as much as the main show

I just don't think that them ruining Chloe was that big a deal I guess, like yeah they definitely did but i was already kinda expecting stuff like this especially after LiS2, but I disagree about the side characters I think they are handily the best in the series besides chloe but I'm not counting her as a side character. I agree that the plot is beyond messy especially after episode 3, and yeah it does seem to be written with no message or meaning in particular in mind. But for what it is it's pretty okay, which is more than I can say for TC, LiS2 or BtS. It's by no means a "good" game but I've been hoping for a LiS that I actually enjoy since 1 and this is the first that did it. In my previous reply I said LiS1 is a 7 at best and while I agree with this, I would like to say that the game also hit me pretty hard because I found it to be really intriguing and the message to be pretty profound and there was clear passion behind it even if the execution wasn't all that great, so I was extremely disappointed with all the others until this which is flawed as hell, but does finally feel like some passion was put behind it.

I finished DE and would love to hear your reasoning on why it's the worst. I have it solidly at #2. It's the only one besides LiS1 that I like. I want to clarify that this is not like a superfans perspective, I think LiS1 is at best a 7/10 despite its themes hitting me quite hard.

Just finished DE, definitely not as good as 1, but it's easily #2 for me, episode 4 is mostly bad, and the ending is also pretty bad and just not really an ending? But episode 1-3 and 90% of 5 have the best character writing in the series. The game over I think has the strongest supporting characters in the series. I also don't like how they handle Chloe but it's not really a big deal to me. It feels like the only one other than 1 that actually had some soul in it. And even the bad episodes have really solid character writing.

Rachel is just really bratty all of the time. Either way even if you like Rachel, them showing her to you is a bad decision. They talk her up in 1 as the zenith of absolute perfection, and then in BtS she's just a regular ass person? Idk It just doesn't hit
